Throughout my life I have always been interested in two prime concepts: technical and esthetical. The play between these two has always been there, neither one nor the other separated, but both technical-esthetical joined in a balance, dancing together at the same time. This interplay between hard structure and fluid creativity is an example of life, and life itself is a source of inspiration.
I also use symbols (old and new) in my work because they have a force behind them that affects us all and our surrounding world. The powerful meaning behind symbols is often there due to their purified structure/shapes and this is what I use to fulfill my expressions.
Many creative people say they do not want to have any limitations, but I believe limitations give me structure in which my creative art can grow and develop.
I need some kind of limitations to work with because they provide foundation and framework where balance and order can mingle freely together, thus releasing a beautiful artistic pattern as a final result.
This artistic pattern is gained by looking at things from different perspectives, moving things around, adding, subtracting – manipulating all of the finite details within structured parameters. In so doing, I create a space where the whole of me functions to create something magnificent according to the way I look at life and the world.
be well, enjoy life
